Steering Committee

 

The Steering Committee is responsible for providing strategic direction for the Student Central project and for sponsoring and championing its implementation. The Committee meets on a recurring basis to review the progress of the project and address project issues. Steering Committee responsibilities include the following:

  • Grant final approval of the project charter and any subsequent changes to the charter
  • Provide overall project direction and guidance
  • Monitor risks and assess the feasibility of proposed mitigation strategies and plans
  • Review timelines and monitor the achievement of project milestones
  • Resolve and/or reconcile project conflicts
  • Oversee formal sign-off of project deliverables
  • Advocate and facilitate broad support for the project
