Modules

 

The myFSU Student Central project comprises six primary modules. Each represents a Florida State University business office. The modules are:

Campus Community

This module comprises all of the people and organizations at FSU. It manages information about members of the community including applicants, students, alumni, and employees in an organized, secure way.

Admissions

This module plans, manages, and evaluates recruitment and admissions activities and offers improved Application Web Services, seamless processing, and more extensive test score history.

Student Records

This module organizes information about students from their enrollment through graduation. It houses the course catalog and curriculum; maintains all academic calendars and class scheduling; and produces student transcripts.

Academic Advisement

This module provides advising tools and tracks a student's degree progress. Additionally, the module provides a bridge from advising to registration.

Financial Aid

This module features detailed data collection, leading to fewer manual calculations while supporting the localized management and awarding of federal and state aid, departmental aid, and scholarship funds.

Student Financial Services

This module tracks official student financial activities including calculation of tuition and fees. It offers disbursement of financial aid funds and manages waivers, billing, and past due student accounts.
